- I founded Barber Copyright Consultancy (BCC) in 2005 as a teenager, with my first client being Big Vision Entertainment (BVE) and its catalog of commercial DVDs. What began as a favor for a friend (then-BVE EVP Kevin Kleinrock) expanded to a popular service when I was hired in 2010 by current clients CHIKARA and WWN to manage protection of their footage. Since then, I have acquired the anti-piracy responsibilities of many other companies. Pro wrestlers who have offered their verbal or written support to my anti-piracy company include Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), Mike Quackenbush, Excalibur, Konnan, Sara Amato (Sara Del Rey), Drake Wuertz (Drake Younger), Sami Zayn (El Generico), and Joey Janela.
I have forced offline millions of pirated links. This includes forcing the closure of MegaWrestling.net (2010), IPSeas.com (2011), and WrestlingBay.tv (2012), then the three leading pro wrestling piracy web sites, by identifying their operators via advanced investigative techniques. I have also forced offline less prominent piracy and bootlegging outfits such as atchamania.com (April 2013), fightingdvd.weebly.com (March 2014), and indycaps.livejournal.com.
By rapidly removing even the most obscure content, I maximize my clients' return on investment by ensuring that consumers buy from authorized retailers. Piracy constantly changes every month. BCC keeps aware of its trends and adapts accordingly. With 12 years of work experience and 19 years of seeing the evolution of combat sports piracy, no company is more knowledgeable about and better equipped to fight it than BCC.
I am open to new anti-piracy consulting opportunities, so please contact me through my Contact page.
